As I was making final prints for the typography designs I’ve made. I was really keen to try out some embossing. So managed to book a session with the student project coordinators. I loved the process. It’s a long one, but I’ve attempted to log it in detail here…

It starts with printing onto a transparent sheet. Scanning this with UV light. Washing the metal sheet thats now indented with the graphics. And then after choosing the paper you want to emboss onto, use the rolling machine to indent it onto this. Then done!

And here is the final big print. I love it.

I went for a dramatic contrast in scale, in an attempt to build intrigue.
